Great and awesome location with parking on site. Exceptionally comfortable beds, cable channels, a microwave, and a fridge in the room. The pool area is great too.

The location of the hotel was beautiful - around 10-15 minutes walk from Minisuper Pochotal. The staff was outstandingly accommodating and affable, always with a smile on face. A double room was with cable channels, a microwave, and a fridge.

Air conditioned, spotless room complete with a book, the ipad plus AC. Small restaurant, great food, people working here are incredibly nice.

The breakfast had a wide range of healthy food and drinks. Appreciated our rooms with ac. The location was awesome, close enough to other restaurants for variety. And it's not too far from Pizza Bocha, ate there once or twice.

Located right on a beautiful black sand beach with excellent surfing, this hotel was perfect for me. The hotel facilities were basic but had everything I needed. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. Parking was available on the property, which made me feel safe and secure. The hotel staff were all very friendly and helpful during my stay.

The location of the hotel is ideal, as it is within easy walking distance to additional restaurants and sits right on a black sand beach, offering some of the best surfing in Costa Rica. The rooms are comfortable, clean, and offer beautiful views of the beach. The owner, Greg, is friendly and accommodating, providing excellent service to guests. The hotel also has a gazebo area where guests can relax and enjoy the stunning sunsets.

Some guests may find that the hotel lacks certain amenities typically found in larger resorts, such as a spa or tennis courts.

The rooms at this hotel are spacious and spotlessly clean. The area is safe, with beautiful and peaceful beaches just steps away.

sandpiper was an incredible family hotel by the beach, even better than my previous stay in jaco. the addictive hammocks, views of the black sand beach, and friendly staff made for a perfect vacation. we loved the fresh food, spotting ara parrots, and the safe, quiet atmosphere. highly recommend!

I recently had an amazing stay at this hotel and I couldn't be happier with my experience. Firstly, the location of the hotel right on the beach within lush tropical gardens was absolutely breathtaking. Waking up to the sound of the waves and enjoying the oceanfront view from the balcony was pure bliss. The staff here were incredibly friendly and attentive, making me feel right at home throughout my stay. The rooms were comfortable and had all the basic amenities I needed, including a balcony where I could relax with a book in the evening. Additionally, the breakfast provided was delicious and gave me the perfect start to my day in paradise.

A Surfers Paradise

I had an amazing stay at a beachfront hotel with breathtaking views and easy access to local restaurants and bars. The room was clean and beautifully decorated with hand-painted murals. The owner, Greg, was incredibly hospitable and provided great advice and tips for enjoying the area. I loved watching the surfers, and the beach and waves were perfect for my husband who is an experienced surfer. The laid-back atmosphere and friendly staff made it a memorable experience. I highly recommend this hotel.
